This afternoon I have been to view a livery yard and I can honestly say I can't imagine a yard could possibly be any nicer!
Seriously can anyone actually think of any other facilities you would need??
This one has; all internal stabling which is well ventilated (max of 20 horses), individual tack rooms within the barn, beautiful deep beds, a rug room with dryers and a washing machine, a 20x40m indoor school that is watered every night and leveled every day, a 40x60m outdoor menage that is also leveled everyday, an indoor horse walker, a lunging arena, a tea room, toilets and shower, an isolation/ observation box, CCTV, 220 acres of land and farm rides around it. Oh and sorry I forgot, excellent hacking!!!
Just to really top it all off, they are putting in hot and cold water wash boxes, a solarium and mirrors in the arenas.
It's hard to believe that a yard that houses horses can be as perfect as what I saw this afternoon.
I can't wait to be able to start looking for a new horse as I will hopefully stable it there. I can't decide what I'm more excited about - a new horse or the new yard
