The above post linked to this page - http://www.whitehorseproductions.com/ecg_basics4.html which I think a lot of us found absolutely fascinating.

So... following on from that, what would you say Titchy is? Her markings have confused judges every outing she's done, and it has been suggested before that she is a chimera.

Thoughts?

She has a very 'confused' neck and mane which is a pain to plait!

She also has a small patch of chestnut on the other side of her neck, and the marking on her quarters is quite simply weird!

Definitely look like a chimera to me (I think I might have suggested that in another thread) I can't think of any other explanation for her markings.

She is gorgeous by the way :)

It would mean she was formed from two different cell lines. There are a few horses out there like it but it is very rare.

I believe the stallion Dunbar's Gold is a chimera.
