So, iam now window shopping so to speak!!
Actually, I want a lurcher/greyhound/whippet type .... looking at rescue sites and drooling!! Iam SURE there is one out there who will fit into my family just fine!!
I just hope they don't cost a fortune to adopt - wouldn't want OH having a heart failure.
 
LOL - I know there is one out there which will fit in just fine, in fact there are probably quite a few :D

Adoptions from GRWE where I get mine (www.grwe.com) are discretionary, but considering you get a neutered, wormed, vaccinated dog with clean teeth (vital in greyhounds :D) I always give them at least £125 :)
 
Well - update
Been on the phone to Greyhound rescue, and seems like I can offer a really good home. So, they can do a home check next week and could have a new family member within 3 weeks! Iam getting rather excited! And to add lovelyness to it all, my OH hasn't said no! Bonus!!
Watch this space... heres hoping a lovely black or brindle bitch will come my way - I have to narrow down the shopping list somehow, so I had to appologise to the lovely lady that I didn't want a dog and I didn't want white.... that part did make me feel bad! Now continuing drooling at their website to see if I can guess who we could be paired up with!
 
Is that GRWE or another greyhound rescue? You lucky thing, I would love another one, but really have to be practical, 3 is more than enough :D

Yes, the GRWE - thank you. I aways grew up with 2 dogs, and only having the one for 6 years now, and the children are not babies anymore, thought about time I tried to see if number 2 can come along.... quite exciting!!
 
Oh that is brilliant, I do try and promote them a lot as they have been so very good to me, although obviously anyone who gives a rescue dog from any source a home is a great person :)

I am sure you will fly through the home check, and of course we want LOTS of photos when your new girl comes home :):):):)
