....quite possibly a numpty question, are certain types of horse more likely to develop navicular disease than others?
I have generally had small, light weight horses and ponies, and apart from the odd bruised sole or abcess, I have not had any lameness issues with any of them (touch wood!!!) and I am not soft on them!
Is navicular disease something that tends to be more common big and/or heavy horses?
