Where would you recommend for a lesson on a schoolmaster? I've heard Talland is good, and Pine Lodge in Norwich. Anyone have experiences of these places? Or anywhere else you would recommend?

Where wouldn't you recommend?

Turville Valley Stud in (South) Oxfordshire...but I think they have a long waiting list at the moment. It's not a riding school but a private yard and they only do lessons during the week during the day (they have a few slots at weekends but they're usually snapped up). Lovely horses and a fabulous instructor.

Personally, I've never had a bad schoolmaster lesson at Oldencraig (I had regular lessons there from 2008-2009) and thoroughly enjoyed all of my lessons - the horses are nice, taught me loads and both the instructors i had during my time there did significantly improve my riding.
