Well bit the bullet and decided to just go for the hack down the little lane where the loose dogs sometimes are

We loved it ! Tess had her ears forwards and we even had a lovely gallop for the first time < I am proud... can you tell ?

We had a spook at some sheep.... but they had horns, so i forgive her

She is lovely.

I spent all morning faffing about the yard getting jobs done and waiting for a haylage and straw delivery that was due late morning. They're always late, so as it was sunny I got lots of jobs done that I hadn't done during the bad weather - muck heap sculpting etc. Finally at two o clock I discovered they weren't coming and would come tomorrow. It is now snowing hard again! Hope it doesn't stick. I've had enough now!
