Vet came out to sedate him and stayed for it all because she was trying to get out of small animal clinic. Dentist was not at all happy with the state of his mouth as he is still teething. He had loads of scars where his teeth had cut him and his teeth were so sharp. He came round from the sedation while she was still doing his teeth (he goes under easily and quickly but it also wears of quickly) he was so good and just stood there and waited while the vet got some more sedative. She spent and hour and a half making them right and we then asked her to age him as we always do because they never get it right! She looked at them and said he has teeth coming through that he gets at around 6 years old and others coming through that a 3 year old would get
But he is about 5 and a half, he just had a bad start in life
Dentist and vet are very much convinced hes been hurt round the face and been ridden in a tight noseband or flash.
It really saddens me on how some people can treat a pony. He cannot have a bit in his mouth until monday/tueday depending on what the mouth it like.
Ive now got to treat him as i did 3 years ago when he came out of the dealers yard from the nf sales
This makes the final bill to make him right about £1500 so far (although £1000 of that is from the leg injury he had that they are paying for)
