.....what's your favorite horsey noise?

Mine is the sound of horses on the road - when I was little my Mum said that as soon as I heard horses coming down the road I would run to the window to see......she still says to me now 'Jen, horses!' when she hears them - bless her

And also I love the sound of horses munching their haynets at night, when I lock them up for the evening......

I love it when P whickers across the field when she sees the car

I also love the noise of when I drown P's feed (accidentily of course!) and she is sucking the watery chaff from the bottom of the bucket

i love the sound of them galloping across the field also when they see you coming into the yard and whinney at you

When I give him his tea and he makes the funniest girly noise !! I love it . Also yes horses munching on haylage, when it's peeing it down outside and they are all tucked up in their rugs just muching away - lovely !

When it's all quiet last thing at night and all the horses are dozing and quietl munching hay.

When Murphy "talks" because he doesn't want to do something. He sort of grumbles to himself and it really makes me laugh.

When Beau wants his dinner!!! He has a really manly deep whinny/growl. LIke he is DEMANDING his food - its soo much bigger than his small stature. And its ACE when he does it at a show and prances about

like he is a stud

I love the little sort of chuckling whicker my lad makes when he sees me. It's so cute cos his nostrils blow in and out as he does it!!

God, I sound like a right sap!!!!!

My last horse used to blow raspberries for attention. I have to say it worked and always made me laugh. I once found a crowd outside her stable all laughing and making a fuss of her.

A soft wicker especially if it's aimed at me or hearing them muchning at night outside my window when I'm tucked up in bed.
