food allergies

my next door neighbour came round with a questionairrre (?) about people with food allergies. as none of my family have anything major ( my oh cant eat eggs) i was useless to her!
she is finding it difficult to find people.
all she needs to know is what type of allergy it is is and how it effects you in every day life, such as eating out/ buying pre packaged food?
if any of you guys can help it would be greatly appreciated!

ok i cant eat anything with glutun in it and yes its a pain in the butt i have to buy from the health food store or internet
although sainsburys do a good range now days aswell ,
if i do eat like normal bread ect i get a aggresive rash all over my body like german measels and it takes a good day to calm down .#
this only started in the last 3 yrs odd

that must suck.
i work with a girl who has a dairy allergy adn she makes all her own food to bring into work with her.
it must be a real bind for her, as we are flight attandants and start work between 5 / 6 am.
i just drag myself out of bed and go in!
i couldnt cope with getting up an hour earlier to prepare my food for the day!
