My BC puppy is now 16 weeks. She is a terrible scavenger and got sick 10 days ago from something she managed to pick up.

My vet put her onto Royal Canin but now she seems to have dry skin and dandruff!

Someone has recommended CSF and someone else Burns as she seems to have a bit of a sensitive tummy anyway.
She has normal poos on the royal canin, rather than runny but has not put on much weight either.

Any views on the CSF/Burns?

Thanks :)

Burns was very popular when I used to work at the vets :)
Its hypoallergenic so there is no additives or colourings and its a complete mix. They do alsorts of flavours - chicken & maize, duck & maize, fish, high oats, lamb etc etc. They also do wet food.
It could be something in the diet thats causing your dog to have dry skin and dandruff or it maybe something missing - try linseed oil to keep the condition in the coat - there is also a shampoo and spray you can get from your vets called Malacetic by DermaPet - works wonders for dry and itchy sensitive skin and coats :)
our GSD couldn't live without it!!
Just a few other tips - don't let your dog stay wet after a wet walk, towel dry her as best you can and don't give her baths too frequently as this can dry out the natural oils in the coat. Brush her regularly to keep the dead fur coming out and the new fur untangled.
