Food for large breeds

Stupid question. When dog food say for large breeds. What makes it different to normal food? What does it have in it that makes it better for larger breeds?

I think it's the size of the food if it's dry the chunks are larger for large breeds.

protein levels are usually different to small dogs, there is often more cartilage support vits in it along with more calcium. Large dogs need more skeletal support then smaller dogs. Kibble is sometimes bigger, Royal Cannin has kibble like lumps of coal, my borzoi rather liked that, but it is mainly the ingredients and the amount of them
