Foot and Mouth outbreak...

hi there.
im guessing you've all heard there's been a new outbreak...

i was just wondering - i read that they are suspended the movement of all livestock (including horses i guess!) from midnight tonight!!

is this true?? also, does anyone have any idea how long this will be for???

The movement ban for livestock started last night at 9.30pm, this is for all cloven hooved animals. Horses are not included in this, and I haven't heard they will be. Gatcombe had this statement on their website-

However, it is possible that horses could be included in this if they want to be very strict.

They are looking into several other suspect cases as well but they have not said where these are yet
