hello
my horse lost he's shoe on monday, and at the time was very foot sore , the farrier came out tuesday early morning to put the shoe back on and he was much better afterwards , by weds he was walking sound , so today i trotted him along the yard to see what he looked like , and he did look sound but a little short strided only a little bit , so at the moment hes out in the field but i will be bringing him in a bit later .
why does he look a little short strided is it because hes still abit foot sore still and because hes been in the stable so a bit stiff ,
what would you do would you leave him on box rest for a bit longer , turn him out or slowly start riding again just in walk ?
thank you x
