Really hoping he makes full recovery. My step-dad was at the match and said it was so awful to be there, the atmosphere as the whole stadium went silent made it so emotional, many in tears. Muamba was studying for his PHD in accountancy aswell so not your average player. Very sad.

My husband was watching the match and just couldn't believe it happened.... you just don't know what's around the corner in life. Hope he makes it through it and fit and well again.

Just puts everything into perspective, 23 year old at the height of fitness and suffers a heart attack. Seems it can happen to anyone

My hubby (football is his religion) said that one person a year collapses on the field from heart attack. I was stunned and nearly in tears. Hoping he pulls through quickly.

Apparently it took 2 hours to restart his heart, so not looking too good. Thoughts go out to his family, hope he pulls through.
