Convo at my yard was;
if a man/women walked up to you in your yard with a million pounds in a brief case and said i want to buy your beloved horse with this money, not telling you of there future life style with him/her, would you sell. ?

i would rather be middle class and have my gee :P

Never. My horses are with me for life, they mean more to me than money. Now if you were to offer it to my OH....well I wouldn't like to say. He is a businessman after all!

Yes. I love my horses to bits, but i have a family and a million pound is a million pound. It's never going to happen so realisitically i don't have to worry about it too much

I agree, I love my horses to bits, but I have a kid and that would help to ensure a future for her. I'm a mother first and horse owner second (it's close, very close but the kid wins). I'd sell.

It'd be hard though,and not knowing about the home would give me sleepless nights forever.

I'm glad it's never going to happen!

No, I promised him when I got him that i'd never sell him and I never will (soppy i know,sorry). My OH on the other hand would swap him for a curry and a couple of pints if he thought he'd get away with it!

yes i would sell any of mine for that- if someone is going to pay £1 million for a horse (not to race) they are going to look after it
