For all those knowledgeable horsey people

I have had a great evening at the stables tonight. Went up to ride but rain stopped play . I've been having a few issues with my 6yr old mare and being a novice older owner I was kind of stabbing around in the dark trying to fix it.
Well I asked the very experienced livery next to me and she came and worked with me & my girl for about an hour. Basically mare has been taking the mickey out of me again
I am constantly asking her silly questions. I think I must drive her mad. I'm sure I'm not alone and you experienced guys are so helpful . So I just wanted to say thanks to all the horse owners who are constantly imparting information either in person or by this forum. It makes first time ownership much easier .

What a lovely post! I think with horses you are always learning, I've ridden since I was 7 & owned horses for nearly 30 years, but still consider myself to be a novice!
