Curled up with me, fast alseep on the sofa! He's not even burning much energy at the moment, as he can't go out for walks for another 2 weeks!
I must just have a calming influence

(Sorry the picture is so small and cr@ppy, OH took it on his phone, but you get the idea!)

I love him. He's gorgeous.

My cocker spaniel has five minutes of madness when we come in the house before turning into a black, fluffy heart rug.

No offence taken at all

He has just gone nuts because OH came home!

He is an absolutely fantastic little dog, he learns things soooooo quickly, soft as butter, completely perfect dog for us!
My parents met him for the first time yesterday, they weren't that keen on me having a dog just yet, thought it would tie us down! But within 5 seconds they were smitten! They reckon I've got a real cracker

You should have seen they bag of goodies they brought him!

LOL!! My old springer was a complete mentallist!! He was also a dreadful murderer! When we moved to a house where there was a shoot, and pheasant being raised in the vicinity, he managed to kill 12 in the first week!! He dropped a big male pheasant at the feet of the gamekeeper, which didn't go down too well - they moved where they raised the birds the following season - wonder why?!!
As well as pheasant he was very partial to pigeon and rabbit - even tried to get a kestrel once, but wondered why it fought back!
He finally slowed down at the age of about 13. My mum was taking him for a walk one day, and thought 'I'm actually starting to really like you now Jasper' On the way home he collapsed with a stroke and was PTS at the vets - mum vowed that she would never have another springer!! I may be bringing her round to the idea though, as a friend's dog is about to have puppies!!

He looks really comfy, they are gorgeous dogs and really affectionate, I have a good old cuddle with my springer most nights but only when he isn't covered in mud, fox poo, etc
