well just to let you know he has now had something to drink and is no long dehydrated, the reason he wasn't drinking, is because he was having a strop about having the vet and being on box rest (he stopped eating last time he was on box rest vet again said was him stropping)

but he sure knows how to give me sleepless nights

If he tries it again, try giving him an extra bucket like one of the muck tubs - but a layer of apples and carrots in the bottom, top up with water to about half full and add a dash of molasses.

Keeps them occupied, and most will drink the water first.

i just left him (the night before) last night and he drunk on his own accord, thanks for all the ie comments he doen't like to scare me
