For anyone following Freddie we are on day 2

Today he was asked to walk from the field to the yard on his own with no other horses to lead him, he is 2 yrs old just and this is his 2nd time ever leaving a field, and first time on his own

We are sooooooooooooo chuffed with him, just can't believe whats happening

I know this feeling....enjoy every minute! my very large 2yo just turned 3...I had to do exactly this stuff with him back in feb...he came from a field and was used to being led out with company and hadn't been stabled.

Its a slow process...but mine will now stand in the stable with the door shut (haven't tried for longer than 5 mins yet).

He is gaining confidence all the time (unless its windy!!)
