Just thought I'd give everyone an update before I jet off to new zealand tomorrow.
Me and my new horsey (have posted a rather rubbish pic in PG) had our first lesson today and it was fine, she is an absolute angel and I appeared unscathed although a rather large truck nearly took us out when we went for a hack afterwards.
So mum and OH had nothing to worry about
Thanks for everyone encouraging me to go. I am now the new mummy to a beautiful coloured mare and cannot wait to get to know her better once I'm back home.
Mum has taken some pics so I will post them as soon as she emails them over to me
