I have been offered the most fantastic opportunity to go and work abroad towards the end of the year. I would be working as a guide on horseback safari tours so really would be a dream job
Really think it's a once in a lifetime sort of offer and would obviously love to take it up, but not sure what to do with my horse. He's only 4 and was supposed to be a keeper - he's my ideal horse and I broke him myself so am very attached! I've had bad experiences before with loaning and particularly as he is so young I'm worried it could be detrimental to all the work I've done so far with him. Also I would only be away for 3 months so I doubt people would want to loan for such a short period. Would it be feasible to turn him away? Or better to try and keep him ticking over?
For all of you have been travelling, what did you do with your horse before you went away?
Thanks guys
