There was a few posts on here about Niksi rugs...

I bought this one from ebay for £43....now - I know the coulour is not that great but I must say I am very happy with the qualoity of rug. YO thought rug was gross when I first bought it up, but now agrees it is a really nice rug.

I have nothing to do with this company and am only posting as asked!

I must stress it is not the usual colour I would see my lovely big boy in... (oh and he does give good kisses...)

I love the colour!
But im sure my Weatherbeeta hig neck fleeces only cost about £25 each. Seems a bit expensive (thats if it is a fleece, think so but just had a mans Bacardi!).

I want that rug!!!! I think the colour is bleurgggghhhh but as I own one of several tbs at my yard he won't get mixed up with the others wearing that (more than once I've arrived at yard to find an imposter in my stable)!

does it have a flashing light, i saw one on ebay just like that and had a light at front that went on once dark!!!

Pretty in pink!!! Seriously though - I love it. How do they come up size wise? My mare takes a generous 6ft 9in, would I need to go up a size?

Bruce is a 6'6, it fits on the bigger side of this....so you should be ok with 6"9 i recon. I think they only do heavyweight.

That would scare my horse to death. I could just see her charging round trying to get away from the flashing light.

how do niksi rugs fit? i have a new forest thats quite narrow shouldered and some of her rugs really slip back and brush her coat the wrong way

that said, i probably dont need a bright coloured, flashing rug as we are moving to a new yard, really in the middle of nowhere. my mare is also thick as a plank and would get so fascinated by the light she would just gaze at herself. or maybe she will just try and eat it?

Bru is a high withered warmblood...it fits him fine, but he has only been wearing it for a day...

She dresses better then me! Rhinos are good and rambos coz the clipy things fits nicely

we tried her fleece from when we got her and she looks lovely in it

. her rambo turn out slips alot as it is too wide in the shoulders

this young lady now has 10 rugs, were getting a bit obsessed!!. btw we are moving to another yard, a stable is saved and we are moving her rubber mats today. we're all nerve buckets and i couldnt stop blubbing when riding her today. but it got me desciding that it's the right descision. i was trying to get her working properly but then a puddle will come up and she will try and dodge it. she's still young and needs to work on straightness, but how can she when she's always going off course.
