For anyone with Badminton TV

For anyone who registered and watched Badminton last year, make sure you've moved your account over to the new site as it were - they've swapped providers for this year.


I already have a Badminton TV subscription, how do I sign in to the new system?

In January 2023 we changed our Badminton TV provider from Vimeo to Brightcove. Each existing Badminton TV subscriber was sent an email instructing them of the move and the few simple steps you would need to follow to continue to view Badminton TV.

All existing subscribers simply need to visit the Badminton TV page, select ‘sign up’ and enter the email address you used to sign up for Badminton TV. You will need to enter a new password and then you will be granted access to all the Badminton TV content. Please click on the link to visit Badminton TV. watch.badminton-horse.tv/

Same here. I definitely did subscribe for 2022, but on logging in it says 'user not found' and when I ask it to resend me a new password, it does not recognise my email address.

Going to be easier to set up a new account, methinks. My old subscription will have nearly run out by now.

ETA That's weird. I set up a whole new account using the same email address as I used last time, but with a different password, and it has logged me back into Badminton TV and my details are all still there. My sub lasts until 3rd May.

You need to use 'sign up' not 'sign in'.

I transferred mine a few months ago, it was relatively easy then!

I'm hoping it's better quality than last year!!!

You need to use 'sign up' not 'sign in'.

So their own website is wrong then, brilliant! I can't remember what I did but it's all been transferred over. Course preview in next few days

How do you figure out when your current subscription ends?

I can't see a manage my account option anywhere

When you're logged in, click on the image that looks like a person in the top right corner, then it'll open a list of options. Manage subscriptions is one.

I've had a reminder email today. I don't recall getting the one that was supposed to have been sent out in Jan. It does helpfully remind me which e mail address I used last time and needed to use again. Think they've got the destructions worded better now and tell us to sign up, not sign in.

This E-mail is a reminder that your subscription expiry date is 05/03/2023. In order to watch the livestream from this year’s event you will need to activate your account in our new system if you haven’t already done so and renew your subscription, if necessary. To do this simply follow these instructions:

1. Go to https://watch.badminton-horse.tv

1. Choose Sign up (top right of the screen)

1. Enter your name, email address & password, and click sign up

Please Note: you will need to use ********* (which is the e mail address you used to sign up previously) when signing up in order for your existing subscription to be switched to the new Brightcove Platform.

I’ve got my email and my sub ended in march, I’ve just signed up and I’m not sure if I need to go into subscriptions and ask it to pay or if it will do it now I’ve signed up, what did you do ?

My sub is active til May so I haven't needed to renew it yet. I can only suggest that you go into 'manage subscriptions' and see what's what

My only current option is to 'unsubcribe', but I will be renewing for 2023.

I'm off to Badminton this year but to watch my friend in the grassroots rather than the main event. Is this subscription worth it? Normally watch red button but obviously not this year!

Is it your first time on that updated site? If so I think you may need to select sign up, and use the same log in you used previously

Done that, I think Im in but cant see anything. The screen seems to suggest I need to sign up and pay again, but I thought it happened automatically!! Guess Ill just pay again and see if that works

My subscription goes to May 4th 2023 (supposedly), I'm signed in but I can't watch any of the archived videos. So my subscription didn't last for a whole year, unless I'm just being particularly dense. Just keeps asking me to subscribe.....

Got the email telling me how to renew early before my subscription runs out, which was due to be May 3.

Today I did renew early, but now my renewed subscription expires a year from today on 30/4/24. I've been diddled out of 3 days . I presumed that it would renew to May 3 2024.

Yes I had the same email earlier @Tiddlypom - I was going to renew, but given what you've posted, I'm going to let it run out first at end of the week. If it doesn't let me watch Friday's dressage on my current sub I won't be impressed!
