What is it with some people. On a ride today a lady came careering past me at speed saying that her horse was sensitvie and something had scared it. Ok, thats fine, but 3 TIMES this happened and she obviously had very little control. She rode her horse in a halter type thingy (might of been dually) and all she could do was try to turn her horse (eventually) into tight circles which did not happen quick enough. The horse was in control and she had very little input at all. WHY??? what is that all about?
 
thats complete madness, It really bugs me when people go past me at speed, whatever there reason it shows no control and that you havent considered the other horse may also be "sensitive" ok an accident thats fine, everyones makes mistakes!
 
OMG, they obviously thought it was good enough for a demonstration! Think the one rider on the grey was a bit big for her horse! Regarding people passing at speed on fun rides etc, really annoys me. Years ago I was leading my daughter on foot and several people cantered past without a word of warning. All it takes is a bit of politeness otherwise people like this can spoil it for everyone else.
 
Had the same experience a while ago. I was riding with my sister and passed a girl on a hack (she was going in the opposite direction). This was the first time my sister had hacked out on her gelding, Solo, and so we were just taking it slowly. About five minutes later, the girl literally galloped past, and my Solo went bonkers. Not even a word of warning from the girl, and she's from our yard, and knew that we'd only had him a few weeks.
