Ignore all my saddle threads recently! I have a new saddler who from quite detailed conversation/messages and photo exchanges I’m really hopeful about out this week (poor credit card)

Horse who has given me some kind of sh** over winter and on my various whingy posts about I was told to sell and move on is coming good, I have started to actually like him.
He had physio today, convinced of major issues he got a fairly clean bill of health. This means I have a horse who’s not only behaving to ride but is sound and not in terrible shape.
Apart from the grass and companion issues home life is SO chilled. He spends his days asleep. Is hacking alone, hacking in company, leaving the company to head our separate ways home without a head fit. Passing all manner of traffic, not fence walking or breaking out, not bullying my ponies. Eating his food, coming to call, being perfect for the farrier.
My lorry is fixed and finally going well.

I just like him. It’s amazing how much difference to my own every day life this makes!
I can’t quite believe it. The only reason I cancelled his sales livery slot was because he wasn’t sound.
🤞🤞we still have stuff iron out but life would be dull if it were perfect! A4AB57DD-084F-4570-A194-85FCF5835700.jpeg

I'll share this post with a friend. She's recently bought a lovely middle weight cob having had TB types in the past. He's really a great safe, sensible, forward going ride just needs a bit of schooling on but he's a fast learner. She's heading towards her 70's and wants a safe , sensible horse having had a difficult time with her last one. However, she's finding it hard to fall in love with him although she recognises that he's he's a great find just different to what she'd had in the past.

I don't log on over the weekend, and it was so nice to read such a happy post when I checked in this morning! Happy, horse = happy person :)
