I've just been browsing the for sale section on a well known horsey website and I have to ask what the world has come too 
Do the owners of these horses have any morals or any idea how to care for an animal?
There are numerous clearly immature youngsters being ridden, including one in draw reins, ponies in their mid twenties, umpteen problem horses, horses in badly fitting saddles being badly riddden, lame horses and obese horses.
The owners of some of these horses should be prosecuted as should the owners of the websites that take money from them.
Many of these are without a doubt welfare cases, but if anyone were to report them I wonder if any of the welfare agencies would even listen.
What happened to a common sense approach to horse ownership and to people taking responsbility for their horses welfare even if that means having them PTS when they are no longer able to care for them or if they are ill or have other issues rather than passing them onto yet more numpty owners to abuse the poor things further.
I'm frankly disgusted
