Rather a delicate matter, but when it comes to that time of the month..do you find riding brings on cramps...?

I find it really hard to ride a few days before because I get really bad cramps, does anybody else have that problem and if so is there anything other than pain killers and deep breathing that will make it go away....?

I was told at college that riding helps period pains but it always made me worse, I think they made it up to be honest. No idea for painkillers as I cant take them.

You can get them heat pads though cant you? Not used them but people have said they are really good.

hmmmm i was forced to have a hysterectomy in march, so i wont need to worry about this anymore! i am only 31 and my compensation was to buy my boy as my new baby and im sssooooo happy - but how come he takes up more of my time and money than a real baby would??!

I find riding helps, perhaps trying to concentrate on the riding (I find I go completely cabbage headed as well for a day or two, so concentration is difficult

) helps take my mind off the pain, mind you I have to take tonnes of painkillers as well.
