Sadly he was put to sleep this morning due to various problems with his front legs.
To say I'm devastated is an undersatement, he was such a huge character and he's left a very big hole that will be impossible to fill.

I don't remember him, but your post has brought a big lump to my throat.
He looks a real sweetheart.

I remember the post to say you'd got him, I hadn't been on the forum long but remember thinking "oooh you lucky thing!", he looked gorgeous! *Big hugs* to you and hope you have loads of friends round you at this sad time. RIP Olympic.

The main problem causing the lameness was the degenerative joint disease in both of his coffin joints (the sidebone, none-articular ringbone and bone re-modelling on his long pasterns and in his left knee didn't exactly help matters)
