When putting a hock bandage on do you leave the point of hock completely clear of bandage or would you gently put a single wrap of bandage over the point before finishing it off?
Also, would you use the thick stable bandage padding or the first aid wadding that you get?

Agree with WB. Leave the point of the hock uncovered, and use gamgee. Make sure you don't have the gamgee too tight so that bandaging makes it pull on the point of the hock. They were checking things like that when I did mine - about a million years ago!
