For those who remember terriers with Queen Anne legs with nostalgia......

Who is looking at the legs after seeing that face?

I had just put him in the paddling pool to clean him off after he found mud again on our walk (how does he do it??!!) and he came to sit in front of me.... ‘oh my god George that front end’ ???

Aww, bless him. Dee can't actually sit like that- her back is too long for her legs, so she has to sit like this

Oh I love them all. I'll see if I can hunt out some pics of our old gang, George reminds me so much of one of them. Her neck was so much wider than her wee head you could never keep a collar on her ? and steadfastly refused to move in a harness so would walk miles along behind us, no lead, occasionally being booted into a ditch if she wouldn't yield for a car!

That’s fab DabDab! Needless to say little George is not allowed within a mile of a burrow on the rare occasions he is off the lead for fear he will vanish ?(except in the secure dog field.... there are bunnies....!)

Yay!! Terrier puppies (especially wiry ones) are fab :):) Well all puppies are but terrierist pups are the bestest, naughtiest, fightiest, biteyist most lovable things and when things get really out of hand you can just pick them up lol!! :):) After all, you would struggle to resist one like this....

That’s THE best thing about George even now Palo - I just pick him up by his harness and tuck him under my arm, problem solved ?❤️

oh and the way he slept all last night between the pillows on my bed, so I could hear this gentle terrier snoring all night...I know I’m a total sad case but SO CUTE ❤️❤️❤️???

The terrier races at our local moonlight steeplechase were actually better than the steeplechase or even the hog roast. I’m quite sure some of the entries weren’t terriers, more labrador or spaniel, but nobody seemed to mind. The winning terrier would be hoisted aloft with it‘s jaws still firmly attached to the lure. Best fun ever.

I tried to find photos of my old terrier and his wonky legs. He was years before digital and I spent ages this afternoon looking through just one box of photos which left me feeling very down at all the old memories. I have given up for now but will tackle all the other boxes another day. I did find some of him to add here, though not his Queen Anne legs. These are all in the nineties.
