... do you trim feathers? After a long winter, my boy is looking a bit scruffy, he has a low chaser clip, I've pulled his mane a bit and trimmed his beard, cut a couple of inches off the length of his tail, I can't wait for spring and for him to lose his coat and general scruffy hairiness but he still has really hairy legs. I left them for protection for the winter as he is out most of the time unless the weather is awful but now really want to trim his fetlocks and bit and streamline his legs and smarten him up. Does anyone else here trim their connies legs (I'm not showing) or are they better left natural? Wonder if it may look a bit odd. Also, when I first got him his tail was neatly pulled but thinking that natives should have a nice full, natural tail I've let it grow out. Its growing down nicely and in about another 6 months should be a full tail but again just wondered if anyone else pulls their connies tails or leaves them natural?
