Our local rescue just got in a Basenji puppy! Must say I've never heard of one in a shelter before.

Unfortunately its not uncommon in America as they are bred by puppyfarmers and sold as rare "barkless" dogs to people who havent bothered researching them... Lily looks like a cross, but i will forward that link onto the basenji rescue over there, thanks
