Hello,

I'm moving from Norfolk to Coleford in Gloucestershire which is close to Monmouth and in the Forest of Dean. I'm looking for livery for one 14.3hh mare, preferably assisted DIY. It needs to have good hacking and safe fencing. I'm getting pretty desperate now as she's due to move on the 23rd August and the place I'd secured for her has fallen through. Any help would be gratefully received. I'm heading over this Thursday and Friday to hopefully look at places.

Thanks so much.

Have you looked on Facebook? Liveries south Wales or something like that.

Yes, I've posted on the endurance pages which cover that area. Im going to post on the Forest of Dean equestrian page once I've had my joining request accepted. I so hope something comes up. It's very frustrating when things fall through. The problem is I'm not based over there at the moment so can't enquire locally.

I'd try Gloucestershire Horse Riders page on Facebook as well as these pages: - Gloucester Horse riders, Gloucestershire Livery Yards, Livery Yards/Grazing in Gloucestershire.

Coleford isn't an area I'm familiar with but I wish you good luck. The local Countrywide store is Ross on Wye may have some ads up too as well as the Gloucester store.

Have a look on herefordequestrian.co.uk they have a livery section that may have something on. You could google equestrian shops in the area and give them a ring, see if they could recommend anywhere? Good luck x

You could also try putting something on the Herefordshire horse riders FB page, there seems to be people from all over the nearby counties on there.

There is a space on my yard- it's in Longhope but may be a good tide over until you find something in between. It's not somewhere fancy but does have off road riding and a school and the owner will turnout etc for a £1 for each job

there isn't a countrywide in ross - but there are several agri merchants. There is a biggish countrywide in Ledbury and there is one in Gloucester. Try the local Facebook pages or see my earlier post :) good luck!!

Thanks so much for all of your responses. I think I've found somewhere which sounds perfect. I'll keep the info handy I case things don't work out. Thanks again!
