Forgot to take my camera ...

when putting Jerry out this evening.

I put his BRAND NEW m/w rug on him to keep him snug (after reading dozziesmummy's post about rugs yesterday) and as soon as I put him out I realised the rug will never look that smart ever again - it will be unrecognisably muddy by morning!

Should have had the camera or am I being a bit daft - its a bit like seeing your child in his first school uniform I suppose (if I had kids!).
Pointless post I know but sympathy to all of you with new rugs that will have their first airings sometime soon .... and a reminder to take your camera to photograph your smart horsio - he will never look like that again!!!

nope your not daft!! i took a piccie of bracken on my phone in her new rug i bought in the winter!!!! i knew after 5 seconds in the field it would never look the same!!!!!!

i took a piccie of my sec A gelding wearing his new PINK rug in winter!!! little git the rug is in 3 pieces now!!!

i take my camera everywhere!! even out on hacks cos you never know wen ur gonna need it!!!!

bless him he was very embaressed and in the background is my other gelding with his purple rug (robinsons finest!!) and its still going strong it was the bargain of the century

That's a gorgeous pink rug (sorry WAS a gorgeous pink rug!). I don't think a gelding should be embarrassed by having a pink rug - although that may be why its in 3 pieces now!!!
