Can he see? Maybe he won’t notice ?

He sees everything. Even if he doesn't appear to notice at the time, he knows...

There was a lot of snorting about the farrier putting surgical gloves on so he could put Rebound under the pads, so he was on particularly high alert. He doesn't trust people in surgical gloves

In answer to various questions, I am pretty accomplished at staying put, and I try to avoid emergency landings, as I don't think I'd bounce as well as I used tp.
That said, I've flown many times, so would award myself at least a Highly Commended for that skill

Mm, you see i feel like you went about it the wrong way. To a horse a pink rug may be more acceptable than a bra. You may well have done the very opposite, having been seen in public in a pink bra, he’s now going to be super cautious.
Hold on tight…

He didn't much like the rug. It was known as "the pink rug of shame", and he only wore it when he really annoyed me!

On a positive note, the Rebound, dental putty, pad combo appears to have done the trick - he looks a lot sounder, and isn't resting one front any more. He has really bad bruising, hence the intervention

It was a lifesaver for one of mine a while ago and super helpful for current horse last winter.
