Some of you may remember I posted a while back about my sister getting two little pups from our local pound. To cut a long story short they were in awful condition, very skinny, full of worms and fleas. In a pretty sorry old state!! They also looked cow hocked, I think that was due to there bellies being so big there legs had to grow around it, both pups legs are completely normal now. So with alot of feeding, de-worming/fleaing they look like normal doggies now :) They would be about 5-6 months old now and are full of beans. As the photos would suggest Luna (the tan and white) is the smarter of the two ;) Zeus (black and white) is as thick as chomp :p
When we first got them (look at that belly of worms!!)

Thick as champ, surely? :D :p

Was just thinking about these guys the other day! Sorry to be a doom-monger but don't overdo the jumpies at this age, they are still babies and their joints still have growing to do, especially given their poor start :) but they look like they are having a blast :D

Well done for getting them back to full health!

They are lovely. they look as if they are having a great time, please dont make them jump though as they are not old enough. They should be 18mths before doing any agility type stuff so joints have time to grow etc.

What a difference, they look great.:D I wonder if there is some hound in there, in which case your sister should have fun.
Sorry to be boring but as above, please don't jump them until they are at least 12 months old.

Dohhh I meant Champ :p Thanks everyone, they seem to have become accustomed to there spoilt lifestyle ;) Although poor Zeus is frequently hounded by my Irish terrier whom persists in chasing him around the yard and pouncing on him lol For some reason she finds him very annoying!! Regarding the jumping - no worries I don't offend easily :D Tbh i'v never done agility before (older dog can jump but isn't the most obedient!!) so I'm not really clued up on when to start them! We don't usually jump them, that was there first time jumping. We usually bring them a walk in the field but it was to wet (no muddy paws allowed in my car ;)) so we improvised with fetch and a few jumpies. We'll stick to the recalls and general obedience until there older.
MurphysMinder - yeap there suppose to be Foxhound x lab. Zeus deffo looks like a hound and acts like one to!! I think Luna looks more like a Lab in the face(minus the ears!!) but moves like a whippet!!

Oh question ... What would everyone do regarding food aggression towards another dog?

Feed them separately? Only advice I can give without actually seeing them in front of me, there could be any number of triggers. No shared toys/bones etc. Everything comes from you, you give it, you take it away.
