Foster Mare Needed

Hi,

I am looking for a foster mare for a TB foal, her mum is very ill and cant look after her any more. She is 5 weeks old out of a 15.3hh mare,

I hope you find something but if it's any help to know, I am rearing two orphan foals now of the same age and they are doing very well on Dodson & Horrell Equilac milk powder and Suregrow. At that age, the foal should quickly learn to use a bucket to drink from. It just depends whether you have the time (feeds every 2 hours to start with) and space to take on that commitment until either mare is better and foal can go back on or until foal can come off the milk altogether (at about 4 months of age).
