Has anyone had any of the breeches or riding hats from Fouganza?
Not seen any of their stuff before and it seems cheap.
Happy to take a punt on the breeches but are the riding helmets up to safety standards?

Fouganza is a French brand (I'm half French)

Their breeches/jods for me lasted about 2 years of everyday use and are good quality.
I have a helmet off them and their helmets are indeed up to safety standards - or at least mine is. :)

I have a pair of the jods and they are fine. You can tell they are slightly cheaper qaulity but they are absolutely fine for every day use and I wear them loads.

That's strange, compared to Countrywide ones they are were the creme de la creme of jods but understandably they are not Tagg quality for example.

They sell in decathlon stores I have bought a hat- LOVE IT. Jodhpurs slightly thinner material but super comfy. And a jacket which has lasted me a good 2 years and was only about £20! Also have the rubber riding boots which are in their 3rd year! Saddlecloths are lovely quality as is the leather they use for the bridles for the price :D

Have to say cheap and very cheerful!! Thumbs up from me!

Decathalon are a side brand of Fouganza but don't just sell Decathalon items like Fouganza only sell Fouganza... :P

I have a pair of their jods that I love and had plenty of wear for years. Can't find the same again :( The rest I've seen in decathlon have been stretchy cotton ones.

I have a pair of lightweight jods and they're great :) they have mesh panels at the back of the knee and were a lifesaver this summer!

I've had loads of Fouganza jods. Very comfy and durable, but I did wish they'd do nicer designs when they were the only brand locally available to me!

I've had loads of jods too but do tend to wear them out quite quickly (the ones I am wearing now have holes where they meet the saddle but are too comfy to throw away until they are completely finished!)

That said, I do buy the cheapest version they do, wear them every day all day and often ride six times a week. I've been looking at the slightly more expensive ones recently in the hope that they might last a bit longer.

They have to be my favourite brand at the moment and they wash really well.

I have two pairs of breeches and I absolutely love them. They are the comfiest I've ever worn and are only just beginning to show signs of wear after 2 years of wearing them daily. :)

I wanted one of the Fouganza hats as a spare and went off to my local Decathlon store to buy one but I was quite put off by the fact that all stock of the hats were sat on shelves, with no boxes and every single one of them had been bumped, scratched or marked and were readily available for children to play football with, so from a safety point of view, unless other stores are different I personally wouldn't want to buy one that may have been launched the length of the shop floor.

I have just got a pair of their Kipwarm breeches and am very impressed. I tried them out last weekend when we had atrocious weather, and amazingly came home with warm dry legs. They do feel rather strange to touch, but the soft fleecy lining is lovely, and the elasticated taper at the end of the legs is much nicer than the usual velcro. I am now wishing they did them in different colours :D

I've got a hat which I bought cheap whilst my good one was in storage, when I got my "real" stuff back I held on to the Fouganza. :)

Word on the street is that the jods/breeches are not designed for those of you with a 36" inseam - that's an alien world to me I'm afraid so can no further elaborate.

GORGEOUS leather oil and grease - smells of almonds. Oiled my stuff up where it lived in the loft for 18 months then spent 5 months in a shipping container sometimes below freezing. Came out SOFT!

I bought a BP for my little girl, it was the only one I could get to fit my very slight small 4 year old unless I wanted an obscenely expensive race safe made to measure. It has been great, light, comfy and she is always happy to wear it. Got a Charles Owen now which fits but is no where near as comfy. Going to get another fouganza so she wears it happily.

Oh wow! I can't remember what I got my hat in but I am 98% sure it came in a box!
