Found 2 horses

2 geldings found early hours of this morning on the main stone to uttoxeter road in Staffordshire . Bay gelding approx 15.2, freezemarked (not updated) and cobby possibly fjord type gelding. If you know anyone who has lost these boys please contacted on 07973 404686.
I have contacted the police, horsewatch, farmkey, local vets and farrowed nut no one seems to have reported them yet....

updated description.....

1..bay gelding approx 15hh, freezemarked ( not upto date) very friendly and polite.

2..dun gelding, 14hh, highland that has rubbed off his mane. Not as friendly as other but nice boy all the same.

Really need to find their owner as mum can't turn her ponies out....

Did you put Freezemark into www.nedonline.co.uk ?
If a passport comes up ring PIO, also your local Trading Stds can request owners address

Good luck finding the owners ! have there been any markets/sales near you recently which they could have come from as it seems odd that no owners have turned up through horsewatch/police etc.

very good of you to hang onto them for now, I have stopped many times at loose horses when others have just driven by ! thankfully owners have been quickly identified. Is it worth also contacting local vets to see if they have any similar on record ?

Have tried the ned but sadly nothing came up. Have posted pics on facebook, called farriers, vets, feed merchants and asked anyone else i can think of.

Any ideas please call, many thanks
