And with his least favourite friend Murphy, a crazy lurcher dumped by travellers. I struggled with him for 2 years but couldn't overcome his serious aggression issues, the final straw was when he bit my father in law really badly, I was 6 months pregnant and on my own (hubby was in Iraq) so I signed him over to Wood Green, they worked with him for three months but said that he was just too bad and he was PTS

When he was nice he was lovely but when he didn't agree with you he was downright viscious... don't think I gave up on him, we tried everything. Think he was pointer/greyhound, his beauty was his redeeming feature!

Thanks, I'll always feel bad that he couldn't be helped, he just always gave that impression that he was a free spirit and was never destined to be a pet dog... we spent £3000 erecting a 2m fence around our 1 acre paddock and he escaped every other day, if you asked (or told!) him to get off the sofa he would literally lunge at you... he never ever left Boss alone, the picture above was him constantly, 24 hrs a day until one day Boss had enough and went for him, ripping his side open all down his ribs, cost a small fortune to get repaired! In Boss' defence, he was totally driven to it, he is the happiest most laid back GSD and wouldn't hurt a fly. So it was a tough decision and I do wonder if perhaps someone could have turned him around but I couldn't risk passing him on to anyone but a professional, they had his full history and still didn't think he was safe. Sad ending but the right decision I think.
