Does he understand English? I had to teach lunging commands in English but used German for a bit with my Hanoverian x when he first came over

Not sure I havnt lunged yet! He seems interested in me chatting to him but maybe he wonders what I am on about

My boy's ears were like mini antennas when I rabbited on to him in German! He did as asked but when spoken to in English, stood like an idiot! I've had the same recently with a French horse at the yard, ears twitching away and really listening!
