Found a new horse!

Utterly delighted - after months of searching, failed vettings, a viewing that almost broke my back and every emotion under the sun experienced - I've had the loveliest mare pass a 5 stage vetting today and she will be coming home shortly! Ironically after traipsing all round the country I found her 5 minutes from home!

No real point to this post except I know a lot of you will understand the joy! Eeeek!

Brilliant I feel your frustration. It took me four months to find mine in Winter 2021 when there were ten viewers for every horse and prices were mental!

She's a 5 year old irish sports horse, 15.2, moves beautifully and a lovely calm, sensible temperament whilst still being forward going under saddle. Exactly what I was looking for!

After losing my boy last October to kidney failure after a long long struggle with PSD, this is the first time there's seemed to be light on the horizon as far as my ridden life goes. Can't wait for her to get here!

So the seller is going to drop her off on Saturday afternoon. The mare I have on loan is going to go home before lunch time, my little welshie is going to have a stressy couple of hours and then the new mare is going to swoop in and become his instant new bestie (hopefully, lol). Feel a bit guilty for splitting up my little man and the one I have on loan as they are completely in love but needs must! Plus the loan horse is ready to come into ridden work so she will pop by for visits so we can hack out ohhh I can't wait!!
