Found this afternoon on the road leading in to Coundmoor between Cound and Cressage. I usually ignore 'farm dogs' around there but he's a new one and refused to move for the car so opened the boot and he jumped in. Have knocked on all doors in the village, no-one knows where he's from. No collar, no chip (as far as we can tell, he had to be catchpoled at the vets and the nurses could hardly get near him).

Dog warden is collecting him later today. Keep everything crossed that he's collected by his humans, poor lad is obviously very scared.

Poor chap, do you think he is elderly? Looks a bit grey round his muzzle. Hope his owners are desperately searching for him and he hasn't been dumped.

Good on you for bothering to help him.

I don't think old old, he had nice coat and teeth and moved well, some go grey earlier than others I suppose.

It was either take him or leave him in the middle of the main road. I'm sure the vet nurses would rather I'd left him, he was 'orrible to handle. :o

He is entire so he's possibly gone roaming after a bitch in season, hopefully he will be back home by now. I will give the warden a ring in the week just to make sure, if he isn't claimed I'll try and find a rescue space for him.
