Dumfries Police found a horse at Dumfries Timber Co at 2.30am today and this horse has not been claimed yet--it is safe, approx 17hh gelding, young, shod in good condition. Please pass the word on to contact Police if you think you know to whom it might belong 0845 600 5701 PC Claudia Wood knows its current location, please re-post this if you have horsey friends

Thankfully the horse has been claimed and was being collected before dark.
It is a new horse to owners, probably jumped out and was not recognised by locals

Owner had been away from very early this morning and the ''animal sitters'' are in deep 's..t'
