Vet came out today to microchip our little foal we accidently came home from beeston auction with after going to look at tack. He checked for microchip and found out he already had one! Vet rang round the databases and a few phone calls and about 20 minutes later we found out little rascal hasnt had the best start to life. His microchip were registered to liverpool university vet hospital who after a few more phone calls found out he was dumped there as a very sick orphan foal and then stolen from foster home where they had hand reared hin.. must of been how he ended up at beeston. I have become very attached to little rascal and was very concerned about them wanting him back but after a lit more phone calls and the vet giving a reference his ownership is now officially in my name :) seeing as he was hand reared and came to me terrified, somebody must have done something awful to the poor boy :(
Luckily rascals got a forever home here with me and my gang now

I really couldnt watch him go home with the man who was bidding on him and for only £10 i wouldnt forgive myself if i didnt bring him home and make sure he has a safe happy life :)

Hope this works.. Pictures from earlier today :) excuse the pink headcollar he was apparently a filly til a few days later he had a wee in front of us and deffinately wasn't a filly!

OP.. Love it. Not only did you go to buy tack but ended up with a foal and then found out it's gender had been mistaken :D

Friend of mine got her horse when she went to buy some 2nd hand tack and ended up with a 5th hand cob who is at least 2" shorter than it's supposed 15hh :D

Sweet little foal and hes got quite a history for his short little life. :)

Well done for getting him hes sweet x I went to Beeston 10 years ago to buy bandages and came home with a very sickly 9 month old colt who i thought was going to die. I wanted to give him his last days being loved and he lived till last year! He was PTS because of joint conformation problems but he had a great life. I also used my council tax money to buy him, never told my at the time partner that i had him!!!
Cant believe they are selling ponies for £10 thats awful and i bet Tuners were there bidding or someone similar!
