Four Counties Insurance -any feedback?

I've just obtained a quote from them via the H&H insurance search site. The premium seems very reasonable, but frankly I've never heard of them.

Does anyone use them, and can anyone offer any feedback on customer service, payouts in the event of claims, etc please?

I use them for my trailer and my house insurance as over the last few years the quotes have been very competitive. They are very helpful and will ring you when your renewal is due with other suggestions if there are cheaper alternatives.
 
I used them to insure my towing car a few years ago. From memory, they're a broker so your actual policy will be with another company. I never had a problem and they did seem to come up cheaper than most others. TBH, I don't know why I didn't try them again with my new towing car lol
 
I was just going to say they are an insurance broker who deal with the policy on your behalf. May be worth checking who the actual insurer is but generally the actual policy will be with a large insurance company
 
Thanks everyone. Having looked further, the policy they are brokering is actually from Rural Insurance... Again not a company I've heard of, but glad to hear positive experiences of Four Counties, thanks.
