Best way o remove fox gloves from a field??

i through i could just go in and pull them out but a friend said they are poison-ness to humans even just by touching them?!

any one??

You probably can pull them up but do be very careful and ensure you wear gloves as they are very very poisonous and I wouldn't want to risk the poison passing through your skin.

They are so pretty :(, I had no idea they were poisonous, I am alive and kicking even though I transplant them sometimes.
To kill them [and why would you], scythe them.

i was always told they were poisonous as a kid but theyve never made me ill and ive moved a few myself without gloves and have to push through them on the shortcut from work to horses, ive just spotted a random white one im going to dig up and take home for the garden too

They contain digitalis which is a heart stimulant (my father was a pharmacist). I don't know which part of the plant it is in but I doubt it would do you much harm unless you ingested it?

The following is from a website called medline plus, all the sites seem to say the same thing so I think you will e fine, just wear gloves if you are worried

''Foxglove poisoning usually occurs from sucking the flowers or eating the seeds, stems, or leaves of the foxglove plant.''

As children, we used to run around with the flowers heads on our fingers, pleased with the scary pink witchy fingers effect!

We knew not to eat them as they were "poisonous" .... ( that was half the attraction) : )
