In the last 2 days i have seen 5 fox's within 1 sqmile of each other, one very lame in the hind leg, has anyone else saw more activity- more fox's than normal, since the hunting ban? and do you think more could be getting killed-mamed by cars?

Is it not because it is the breeding season at the moment? I saw a youngster dead on the side of the road when I was out hacking today, so thought it must be that time of year?

Am sick to death of foxes ATM, any one who fancies coming to shoot some are more than welcome.
We have loads on the stud right now, they've had 2 lots of my chickens over the last couple of years. I've given up trying to keep them now.
But the last few weeks we've had some getting closer and closer to my house, I sit and watch the buggers out of the window, usually shouting obscenities at them. They've even taken to coming onto the yard in broad daylight and rooting through the binbags. Not impressed. Especially as I swapped the chooks for rabbits, and have a suspicion they will start checking them out soon.

It is a well known fact (can't remember the source though! :D) that more foxes are killed by cars than by hunts.

Mmmmmmmm I love Fox's biscuits. And mints. :)
