for those of you who read my previous post about my geldings fractured coffin bone and bone chip, i battled my way to the vet today through the blizzards, the fracture is quite small, so should heal (fingers crossed) his coffin bone is a very peculiar shape though which could just be natural or could be the result of the fracture. he also has a broken back hoof pastern axis (shocking flat feet, he has always had them) which hasnt helped the situation, so he has to go to the clinic for more tests, nerve blocks and more xrays, and possibly an MRI scan to determine the exact cause of the problems whether its the bone chip resting just above the coffin joint or something else, so the saga continues but at least it wasnt all bad news

congrats if u got this far

Glad to hear that it's not all bad news! Hopefully the bone chip will heal well, and the further tests will find nothing wrong
