Freddie update for his fans!

Freddie thinks humans are vile creatures and it took us months and months to actually even halter him, he always has a look of distrust, although now he will do almost anything for my family, apart from go in a stable unattended and alone.... anyway he is 2.5 yrs old now and we had a wonderful moment yesterday with him :D Him and his 2 old granny buddies were lying down asleep in the field, usually he would get up the min we came in the field! Yesterday the welshie got up and the TB and freddie didn't, so we walked up very slowly and got within 4 feet of Freds, he just laid there totally relaxed, so we just crouched near, within 3-4 mins he got up, but was a lovely feeling, he finally more or less trusts us!!.
Measured him yesterday and he is now 15.2 on his withers!

Whenever you post I always think "hold on a minute..when did I write that?!".

So sweet, it's such a special moment when you catch them lying down and they don't get up. Freddie has only let me sit with him whilst he's lying down once, and all I could think was "this is SO much better than riding!"

Love Freddie's cheeky face too!

I know what you mean!! Freddie is a dream to handle, go for inhand hacks, etc, total manners, but he has a wicked glint in his eye and massive bucks in the field, I fear he is going to be a little devil to ride!! He is so bold, he thinks nothing of jumping off the river bank in his field into the deep water! God help us! X
